Abstract :This study includes the classification, usage rates and evaluations of the concepts of family and kinship in Köktürk and Uyghur Turkish. In this context, the aim of the article is to reveal the vocabulary of family and kinship terms in Köktürk and Uyghur Turkish and to make statistical evaluations. Identified words were examined in terms of “gender, meaning, origin, title and degree of affinity”. The terms of family and kinship determined in Köktürk and Uyghur Turkish were evaluated quantitatively and the concept area was revealed.
