Is an Environmental Education Program Integrated with Language Activities Effective on 48- to 66-Month-Old Children’s Environmental Awareness?

Abstract :This research was conducted to determine whether an “Environmental Education Program Integrated with Language Activities” has an impact on environmental awareness of children aged 48- to 66 months. The sample consisted of 22 children selected using convenience sampling from 48- to 66-month-old children attending a nursery school. Among the sample, 12 children were included in the experimental group and 10 were in the control group. The study used a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The data were collected using a “General Information Form” and the “Environmental Awareness Assessment Scale for 48- to 66-Month-Old Children” developed by Kurt Gökçeli insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2015);.
