Abstract :The aim of this study to show the importance of sialic acid and lipid-bound sialic acid levels besides some hematological and biochemical parameters with respect to prognosis in detecting the degeneration and functional disorders in the livers of sheep with chronic fascioliasis. This study was carried out on twenty-two female Akkaraman sheep consisting of 10 healthy sheep and 12 sheep naturally chronic infectedwith Fasciola hepatica.
