Abstract :This study investigates difference among private hospitals in terms of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligences of their employees who are dealing with international patients. Because of the importance of satisfactory results from international patient services, and the best practices in healthcare services, understanding the effects of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence of hospital employees are crucial. In this cross-sectional study, data was collected from 551 participants from seven private hospitals having at least 150-bed capacity in Istanbul and Gebze region of Turkey. The findings revealed that there was moderately significant difference among private hospitals in terms of “regulation of emotions” dimension at p =0.024 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0.05); level. Overall, this study is unique in regards to highlighting some differences among private hospitals in terms of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence in their services towards international patients.Keywords : Emotional intelligence, Cultural intelligence, International patients, patients services
