Abstract :When asked what they would want people in Turkey to know about the Lakota, most of the Lakota interviewed answered: “That we are alive!” That indeed was the main objective of the one-part documentary film produced by the public television of Turkey, TRT. As the title of the documentary On the Trail of Sitting Bull suggests, the film is about the renowned Lakota leader Sitting Bull and how his descendants lived in the 21st century
