Abstract :Bu çalışmada Türkiye ile Azerbaycan arasındaki münasebetlerin tarih ders kitaplarına yansıması ele alınmış, bu çerçevede tarihsel konulardaki anlaşmazlık noktaları tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma, doküman analizi yöntemine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmada örnek ders kitapları esas alınarak Osmanlı Tarihi konuları belirlenmiştir. Bu konuların önemli noktaları vurgulanmıştır. “Azerbaycan Tarihi” isimli Azerbaycan dokuzuncu sınıf tarih kitabı ve “Ortaöğretim Tarih” isimli Türkiye Cumhuriyeti onuncu sınıf tarih kitabı paralel konular içerdikleri için incelenmiştir. Ayrıca incelenen her konunun altına bilimsel kaynaklarda konunun nasıl izah edildiği belirtilmiş, söz konusu konuların tarihsel uygunluk ve çatışma noktaları tespit edilerek maddeler halinde ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan çalışma ile ders kitaplarının bilimsel analizinden ziyade tarih öğretimi açısından iki ülke tarih kitaplarının aynı tarih konularına bakış açılarındaki farklılığın ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır.  In this study, the reflections of the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the history textbooks are studied and the points of disagreement on historical issues were identified in this framework. The study is based on the method of document analysis. Ottoman History subjects were determined according to the sample history textbooks. Important points of these subjects were highlightened.  The Azerbaijani 9th grade history textbook named “History of Azerbaijan” and Turkish 10th grade history textbook named “Secondary Education History” were studied because of their common issues.  In addition, how the subject is identified in scientific sources was specified under each of these examined subjects and the points of historical appropriateness and conflicts of the subjects were tried to put forward to present in the form of substances.  With this study it is aimed to determine the difference between the viewpoints of the two countries on the history textbooks rather than a scientific analysis of them.
