A Study on Selection of Blackberry (Rubus fructicosus L.) Naturally Grown in Tokat Province

Abstract :This study was carried out on 57 blackberry types in 1996-1997 years and 7 types with best quality were selected. In these types fruit weights were found 2.19-2.92 g. Total solible solids percentage, numbers of fruit branch/ per shoot and numbers of fruit / per fruit branch were found 10.00 -13.80 %, 3.75 - 13.75 and 6.38 - 47.64, respectively.
