Tensile Resistance of Dowel with the PVAc and Polymerin from Different Types Wood or Particle or Fiberboards

Abstract :This study was performed to determine the connections resistance with dowel of some beech wood materials and board types used in furniture industry, which are bonded by polyvinyl acetat insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PVAc); and polyurethane based insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Desmodur-VTKA); glues. For this purpose, the tensile resistance was made with wood materials; scotch pine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Pinus silvestris L);, oriental beech insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Fagus orientalis lipsky); and oak insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Quercus petraea spp.); using cross and radial section with polyurethane based glue, edges of particle or fiber boards processed and unprocessed with beech wood, polyvinyl acetate insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PVAc); glue. At the result of experiments, it was obtained the highest tensile resistance, by cross section of the oriental beech insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4,403 N/mm2); and the processed with beech wood fiberboards edges insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5,818 N/mm2);.Keywords : Turk J Agric For, 23, 1999, , 151 156 Turk J Agric For, vol 23, iss EK1
