Abstract :As a results of rapid increase in population, forests which are an integral part of natural balance, have been dramatically decreasing. Thus problems associated with forestry, are in the rise. In this regard, the supply and demand conflicts and problems in small and middle-sized establishments in the forest product industry are two major issues which require close attention. The principal objective of this study is to examine the status of small and medium sized forest product industry in the province of Trabzon. The present study has identified the main problems of the establishments and solutions for these problems were proposed.
