Abstract :The research area is situated in Kahramanmaraş province. In this study, during the period 1998-1999 1265 plant specimens, 67 families, 268 genera, 520 species and eight subspecies were collected and identified. The total number of specific and infraspecific taxa is 528. Thirty-five of the 528 taxa are new records for the C6 square. The number of endemic plants is 55 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(10.42%);. The distribution rates of the specimens into phytogeographical regions are as follows: Mediterranean elements 145 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(27.46%);, Irano-Turanian elements 76 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(14.39%); and Euro-Siberian elements 23 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.36%);.
