Abstract :Chiral tridentate Schiff base ligands were prepared from L-tert-Leucine and used as catalysts in the asymmetric Henry reaction in the presence of Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); ions. Moderate enantiomeric excesses insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(up to 66%); and yields insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(up to 76%); of the desired b-nitroalcohols were obtained.
