Abstract :Several known secondary metabolites, namely lupeol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1);, b-sitosterol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2);, stigmasterol insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3);, and 2,6-dimethoxy-4-hydroxy acetophenone insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4); were isolated from a folkloric medicinal plant, Tannacetum polycephalum. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of various spectroscopic methods.
