Abstract :A new series of thiazolyl thiazolidine-2,4-dione insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Va-f); were synthesized and their structures were elucidated by IR, 1H-NMR, mass spectra and elementary analysis. The synthesized compounds were tested for their antimicrobial activities against Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli. Compounds Va-b, Vd-f showed high activity against Escherichia coli comparable to ampicillin.
