Abstract :Six new 3-pyrrolin-2-one derivatives were synthesized via the condensation reaction of amino acid esters insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2a-f); with 2,5-dimethoxy-2,5-dihydrofurane insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1); in acidic medium. This simple one-pot reaction furnished the corresponding pyrrolinones insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3a-f); in acceptable yields.
