Abstract :Ten 2-[insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2-oxobenzothiazolin-3-yl);methyl]-5-aminoalkyl/aryl-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives were synthesized. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated by their FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectral data, as well as their elemental analyses. The compounds were tested for antinociceptive activity. Among these compounds, 2-[insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2-oxobenzothiazolin-3-yl);methyl]-5-aminomethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5a); was found to be significantly more active than the others and the standards in all the tests.
