Abstract :The reaction of 2-[insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2,3-dimethylphenyl);amino]benzoic acid insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HL); with tri- and diorganotininsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); chlorides yielded complexes of the type R3SnL and R2SnL2 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(R = n-C4H9, C6H5, C6H5CH2, n-C8H17);. The compounds R2SnClL were obtained by a redistribution reaction between R2SnL2 and R2SnCl2. All the compounds were characterized by CHN analysis, infrared, multinuclear NMR, mass and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The possible mode of carboxylate group bonding in solid as well as in solution is proposed on the basis of infrared, Mössbauer and NMR insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1H, 13C, 119Sn); spectroscopy.Keywords : Turk J Chem, 28, 2004, , 75 86 Turk J Chem, vol 28, iss 1
