Abstract :A synthetic approach is described to the asymmetric synthesis of ascochlorin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1);, an antiviral antibiotic, based on the construction of a sesquiterpene unit via asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction of tigloyl sultam 4 & butadiene, and the introduction of the aromatic side chain insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(C9-C12 unit); by employing cuprate chemistry.
