Abstract :MHD viscous electrically conducting fluid flow and heat transfer in a parallel plate channel partially filled with a porous medium and partially with a clear fluid was considered in the presence of an inclined magnetic field in a rotating system. Hall effects were taken into account. It was found that the Coriolis force, Hall current, and the permeability of the porous medium influenced significantly the flow behavior in the channel and the temperature field. Effects of the rotation parameter insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(R);, Hall current parameter insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(m);, permeability of the porous material insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(K);, viscosities ratio parameter insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(f1);, Hartmann number insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(M);, and angle of inclination insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(q); of the applied magnetic field insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(H0); on the velocity distributions, temperature distributions, and the rate of heat transfer are depicted graphically and discussed. Keywords : Hall current, Heat transfer, Permeability, Rotating system, Porous medium
