Abstract :The $n+2$-dimensional gravitational collapse of pressureless fluid is investigated in metric $finsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(R);$ gravity. Matching conditions are derived by taking the $n+2$-dimensional Friedmann-Robertson-Walker insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FRW); metric as interior spacetime and the $n+2$-dimensional Schwarzschild metric as exterior spacetime. In the analysis of the solution of field equations, the scalar curvature is assumed to be a constant.
