Abstract :The distribution and types of a-s1-casein, b-lactoglobulin, b-casein and k-casein in Holstein cattle were identified. It was determined that the frequencies of a-s1-casein were 0.958 and 0.042 for a-s1-KaB and a-s1-KaC; b-lactoglobulin, 0.516 and 0.484 for b-lgnA and b-lgnB; b-casein, 0.995 and 0.005 for b-KaA and b-KaB; and k-casein, 0.677 and 0.323 for k-KaA and k-KaB, respectively. The differences between the empirical and theoretical distributions of the a-s1-casein, b-lactoglobulin, b-casein and k-casein genotypes were not significant. The effects of the a-s1-casein, b-casein and k-casein types on milk yield traits were not significant, while the effects of the b-lactoglobulin types were significant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(pKeywords : Holstein cattle, Milk Protein Polymorphism a s1 casein, b lactoglobulin, b casein and k casein
