Economical Analysis of Replacing Slaughterhouse Byproduct Meals in Salmonid (Oncorhynchus mykiss) Fry Diets

Abstract :The possibilities of replacing slaughterhouse byproduct meals insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(blood meal, poultry-by products, meat and bone meal); into menhaden fish meal in salmonid insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(rainbow trout fry); diets were economically analyzed in this study. Fish meal levels of diets were balanced as 30% and 45%, and 10 test diets with average 34% insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(first five diets); and 41% insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(last five diets); protein and about 3500 kcal/kg metabolic energy were made by replacing 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% slaughterhouse byprolucts into these categories of fish meal. As a control feed, a commercial feed with 55% protein insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(min.); and 2900 kcal ME/kg was used. Rainbow trout fry with an average 1.75 ± 0.08 g initial weights were fed with prepared test diets and control diet as three replicates insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(in total 33 tanks); for a period of 150 days insert ignore into journalissuearticles values( 140 feeding days);.
