Abstract :In the current study, the colour vitality, wash, rubbing and diaphoresis fastness were evaluated for cotton substrates with and without anionic insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(tannin); mordanting.It was found that pre-mordanting with tannic acid affect both the colour characteristics and fastness properties of the cationic dye. Overall, mordanting with tannic acid gave the best results in terms of both colour vitality and fastness properties.
