Abstract :Franz Kafka\\\'s novel The Trial is a contemporary classic. The work is a reserve of meanings containing multifaceted messages. According to Umberto Eco\\\'s theory of the open work, an open work is a work in which each reader finds meanings according to their own knowledge.
