Abstract :Bryophytes are the oldest terrestrial plants in the world, about 3000 taxon are known to have medicinal properties. Plagiochila asplenioides insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(L.); Dumort, which is one kind of bryophytes, was examined in this study. The antimicrobial, antioxidant, fatty acids, mineral analysis and some chemical properties of the extracts obtained from the bryophyte were investigated. It was determined that the P. asplenioides extract had a moderate effect in terms of antioxidant properties and total phenolic content. In terms of fatty acid compositions, oleic and palmitic acid were found to be high. As a result of the mineral analysis, it has been observed that it can accumulate high levels of potassium insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(K);, calcium insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Ca);, iron insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Fe); and aluminum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Al);. In addition, it was observed that the extracts obtained from P. asplenioides showed only a moderate inhibitory effect against Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium. Keywords : Antioksidan, briyofit, kimyasal analiz, mineral analiz, Plagiochila asplenioides
