Abstract :This paper relates to the recognition and description of one novel taxon Caloglyphus verto Hypopus within the genus Caloglyphus Berlese recorded from Pakistan. This species is characterized by possession of a typical gnathosoma in which distal fork is not separated from basal joint. The text comprises interpretations on description of diagnostic characters, morphometric measurements, collection site with ecological data, host material and differentiating remarks of new species from closely related species. Brief details lying on overview of literature of already identified Caloglyphus taxa and key covering all the known species in the country are given
