Abstract :Schwannomas are tumors that originate from Schwann cells in the nerve sheath. They most commonly manifest in the head, neck and extremities and rarely can arise from the retroperitoneum. Here, we reported a case of an incidentally detected retroperitoneal schwannoma in a 34-year-old female and discussed the current techniques for diagnosis and treatment methods of schwannomas.Keywords : Schwannoma, Retroperitoneal, incidental
