Abstract :Aim: Using of mouthwashes has become more popular recently as a result of the studies on reducing the transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SARS-CoV-2);. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of different content mouthwashes on the color changes. Methods: Two different resin-based CAD/CAM materials insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Vita Enamic and Brilliant Crios); were used in the study insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=32);. 64 samples were prepared by taking 2 × 7 × 12 mm sized sections from CAD/CAM blocks insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=32);. After the samples were kept in artificial saliva at 37° C for 24 hours, initial color measurements were made with a spectrophotometer device insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(VITA Easy shade V, Germany);. Then the samples were kept in 3 different mouthwashes containing Cetylpyridinium chloride insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Oral-B);, Povidone iodine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Batiqon); and Chlorhexidine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Kloroben); twice a day for 1 minute insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=8);. Color measurement of the samples was repeated on the 7th, 14th and 30th days. Color change values insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ΔE00); were evaluated by one-way analysis of variance insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ANOVA); and Tukey test insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p 0.05);. Conclusion: At the end of the 30th day, color change was observed below the noticeable threshold value insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ΔE00>0.8); in the hybrid ceramic CAD/CAM block samples insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Vita Enamic); . In composite-reinforced CAD/CAM samples insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Brilliant Crios);, only Povidone-iodine-containing mouthwash produced color change above the noticeable threshold value insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ΔE00>0.8);, while Chlorhexidine and Cetylpyridinium chloride did not produce a noticeable change. Keywords : Mouthwash, COVID 19, CAD CAM materials, Discoloration
