Abstract :ÖZET Cleft pale ve cleft lipfi hastaların cerrahi tedavilerinden daha iyi neticelerin alınabilmesini sağlamak için pre-operatif olarak kullanılan apareylerin çeşitli tipleri anlatılmışdır. SUMMARY Preoperative orthopedic therapy combined with maxillofacial surgery is accepted to be the best way of treatment for the cleft palet and cleft lip patients. This paper comprises the descriptions of the appliances used in the orthopedic preparation of the patient for the surgery.
