Abstract :In work ways to improve efficiency of the use tourist-recreational potential of the region are considered. References of recreational resources as one of function of tourism and types of the target recreational resources applied in tourism are issued. Criteria and functions for development of system of tourism are given. Many actual problems are considered are characteristic for archaeological monuments of Kazakhstan. Ways of the organization active association of the tourist objects which are carrying out appeal are given.
