Abstract :This article presents the features of the formation of the concept of functional competence. Presents examples of working with students about functional literacy. Discussed issues of functional literacy of schoolchildren. Analyzed several examples of generelyze physics lessons and the requirements for the formation of functional competence of future teachers of physics.
