Abstract :Geç Kapitalist Gelişme Bağlamında Osmanlı’da Şirketler   Doç. Dr. Koray R. Yılmaz   Bu çalışmada Osmanlı Devleti’nin son döneminde yaşanan şirketleşme deneyimi ele alınmıştır. Bu dönem şirketleşme deneyiminin genel çerçevesini Osmanlı Devleti’nin dünya kapitalizmi ile entegrasyonu ve bu entegrasyon bağlamında yaşanan geç kapitalistleşme süreci belirlemiştir. Serbest ticaret üzerinden dünya kapitalizmi ile entegrasyon kuran Osmanlı Devleti’nde yaşanan geç kapitalistleşme süreci, esnaf şirketlerinin oluşumunu gündeme getirmiştir. Esnaf şirketleri serbest ticaret karşısında zorlanan esnafların buna yanıt üretebilmek noktasında geçirdikleri kurumsal dönüşüme işaret eder. İlk olarak bu esnaf şirketlerinin özellikleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Diğer yandan 1850’lerden itibaren Osmanlı Devleti’nde ulaşımdan, bankacılığa, demiryollarından, altyapı şirketlerine genel bir anonim şirketleşme sürecinin yaşandığı da gözlenmektedir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümü bu şirketlerin genel özelliklerinin tespit edilmesine ve bu özelliklerle entegrasyon biçimi arasındaki ilişkinin vurgulanmasına ayrılmıştır. Nihai olarak bu çalışma 19.yy’da kapitalist sistemle derinleşen bir entegrasyon sürecine giren bir coğrafya olarak Osmanlı Devleti özelinde şirketleşme deneyiminin incelenmesine odaklanmış, bu çerçevede tespit edilen esnaf şirketleri ve anonim şirketlerin genel nitelikleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.         Ottoman Corporations in the Context of Late Capitalist Development   Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray R. Yılmaz     This study has focused on the emergence of corporations in the 19th century Ottoman Empire. The general framework of the emergence of corporations was determined by the integration of the Ottoman Empire with the world capitalism and by the process of late capitalist development which was realized in the context of this integration. The integration with capitalism through free trade raised the tradesmen corporations in Ottoman Empire. Tradesmen corporations point to the institutional transformation of tradesmen who has less competitive in the face of free trade. In this study, firstly, the characteristics of these tradesman corporations have been tried to be determined. It is well known that there was a general tendency towards emerging of joint stock corporations in some sectors such as transportation, banking, railways and infrastructure in the second half of the 19th century in Ottoman Empire. The second part of this study is devoted to identifying the general characteristics of these corporations and to highlighting these characteristics` relation with the mode of integration. In sum, this study addresses the emergence of corporations in Ottoman Empire as a state which became more integrated with capitalist system in the 19th century. In this context, it tries to reveal the general characteristics of tradesmen corporations and joint stock corporations.
