Abstract :The aim of this research is to determine women`s views on emotional violence and coping methods in intimate relationships. The study group of the research consists of 15 people who live in Konya and have been exposed to emotional violence in their intimate relationships. In the research, semi-structured interview technique was used as the data collection method. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. Then, the themes of perceptions of emotional violence in intimate relationships, the reasons for the emotional violence of the partners, the effects of being exposed to emotional violence, the reactions given to the partner in the face of emotional violence, the ways of coping with emotional violence and the needs to combat emotional violence, and categories related to these themes were created. As a result of the research, the findings were discussed and suggestions were developed for the findings.
