Abstract :Giriş: Bu çalışmada genç erişkin sporcu ve sedanterlerde cinsiyet ve sigaranm kemik mineral yoğunluğu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(KMY); ,na etkisi araşttrlldı. Materya/ ve metod:Bu çalışma, gönüllü erkek ve bayan sporcu ve sedanterlerde insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(18-25 yaş); yapıldı, Denekler önce toplam, sigara içen [sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+);); ve sigara içmeyen [sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-);); olarak üç gruba, daha sonra her grup da karma, erkek ve bayan denek, karma, erkek ve bayan sporcu ve karma, erkek ve bayan sedanter olmak üzere dokuz gruba aynıdı. Deneklerin yaş, cinsiyet, ve sigara içme özellikleri bir anketle belirlendi. Bulgular veSonuç Toplam sedanter O, sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-); sedanter O ve RF ve sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); lüm guruplann O ve sedanterlen\`n RK ve LK KMY\` leri han\`ç, erkeklerin KMY değerleri bayanlannkinden anlamlı olarak daha büyüklü. Sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-); ler ile sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); lerin KMY\` len\` arasmda anlamlı fark yoktu. Sig insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); bayan denek LF ve bayan sporcu RF ve LF araSindaki pozitif ilişki d/şmda sigara sayıs/ ile KMY arasmda ilişki bulunmadı. Sonuç olarak, cinsiyet KMY üzerinde önemli etkiye sahiptir. Anahtar Kelime/er: Sporcu, sedanter, cinsiyet, sigara içme, kemik mineral yoğunluğu   SUMMARY Purpose :in the present study, the eftects of sex and smoking on bone mineral density insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(BMD); in young adult athletes and sedentary subjects were in vestigated. Materla/and method:This study was carried out on volunteered male and female athletes and sedentary subjects insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(aged 18 and 25 years);. Subjects were first divided into three groups; totals, smokings [s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+);\` s], nonsmokings [s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-);\` sj Then each group was divided into nine groups; mixed, male and female subject. mixed, male and female athlete, and sedentarymixed, -male and -female. Body weight, height, age, sport age and smoking charecteristics were determined with an inquiry. Lumbar venebra insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(V);, right insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(RF); and left femur insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LF);, and n\`ght insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(RA); and left forearm insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LA); BMD\`s were assessed with dual-energy x-ray absorbtiometry method. Results and discussion BMD values of the males were significantly higher than that of the females except total sedentary V, sedentary s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-); V and RF, all s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); V, and sedentary s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); RA and LA BMD\` S. There was no significant difference between BMD value$olof the s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(-);\` s\` and that of the s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+);\` s\`. No correlation was found between cigarette number and BMD, except the positive correlations between cigarette number and s insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(+); female subject LF and female athlete RF and LF BMD\` s.
