Abstract :Özet: Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2004-2007 dönemi için TRA1 alt bölgesi imalat sanayinde faaliyet gösteren firmaların teknik etkinlik düzeylerini, veri zarflama ve stokastik sınır analizi yöntemleri yardımı ile tahmin etmek ve iki yöntemi mukayese etmektir. Bu yöntemlerle elde edilen etkinlik değerlerinin karşılaştırılması sonucu, iki yöntemin firmaların etkinlik ölçümünde önemli derecede farklılık oluşturduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Stokastik Sınır Yaklaşımı, Veri Zarflama Analizi, Teknik Etkinlik Abstract: The aim of this paper is to compare and to estimate Data Envelopment Analysis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(DEA); and Stochastic Frontier Analysis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SFA); methods by estimating technical efficiency in the manufacturing industry in TRA1 subsectors for the period 2004-2007. The comparison of the efficiency scores obtained from these two methods show that there is a significant difference in measuring the efficiencies of the firms.
