Abstract :During the course of excavations at Yümüktepe, which is close to Mersin, carried out by the Neilson Expedition, several human skeletons of Chalcolithic Age were found and sent to me for study. In this connection I wish to express my thanks to Prof. John Garstang, the Director of the Expedition and to Mr. Necati Dolunay, for entrusting the description of these skeletons to me.
