Abstract :Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate nursing students’ perceptions about the locations they live in, their educational satisfaction and the relationship between the factors influencing their perceptions and educational satisfaction. Methods: This study is a regression and descriptive study. The universe of the study consists of 2, 3 and 4. nursing students attending a health faculty in 2019-2020 academic year. Instead of sampling, the study conducted with whole universe. 240 data collection forms were distributed by the researchers and datas fully completed by 200 students were evaluated. In the study, Student Introductory Information Questionnaire, Location Perception Scale, and Student Satisfaction in Higher Education Scale were used. Ethical principles were overseein the research. Results: Accordingtotheresults; the median location perceptions of the senior students living in nucleus families were higher and the differences between the groups were statistically significantinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<.05);. Students havingequivalent expenditures and enjoying the departments had higher means witheducational satisfactionand differences between the groups were statistically significantinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<.05);.There was a positive correlation between thesub-dimensions of educational satisfaction, training conducting/ evaluating courses, Academic/ administrative staff, with participants’ location perceptions and between the total score averages insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<.05);. Conclusion:Thisstudy,living in thesameplacefor a long time andliving in thenucleusfamilyenhancelocationperceptionandhaving well-being economic conditions, enjoying studying in the department also enhance educational satisfaction.In addition, the locationperception in nursing students was low and there was a positive correlation between the location perception and the educational satisfaction.Keywords : Nursing student, location perception, educational satisfaction
