Abstract :Purpose:This research was conducted descriptively to determine the level of knowledge of midwifery and nursing students about Covid 19 and the precautions they take for protection. Patients and Methods:The population of the study was 515 students, 315 of whom were studying at the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of one city and 200 students from the nursing department of another province, while the sample of the study was 395 students. The data were collected online between May 5-15, using a questionnaire prepared by the researchers. Percentage, frequency and chi-square analysis were used in the study. Results:In the study, it was found that 90.09% of the students had information, 99% correctly defined the symptoms of Covid 19 disease, and 97.7% correctly defined the measures that can be taken to prevent the disease. In addition, it was found that 93.66% of the students took various measures for protection. In the study, the incubation period of the Covid 19 virus was an average of 4-14 days, and a statistically significant difference was found between those who gave the correct answer to the variable and those who gave the wrong answer, according to the sections they read willingly and the sections they read insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p <0.05, Table 4);. As a precaution, a statistically significant difference was found between the students who stated that they followed the statements made by the authorities and tried to comply with these suggestions as much as possible and the students who answered no to this variable, according to the department they studied insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p <0.05, Table 5);. Conclusion:It was determined that 66.6% of the students had incorrect information about the treatment related to Covid 19.
