Abstract :Purpose:The objective of this study to collect Canada McMaster University nursing program educators\` opinion and experience of continuing skill training in the age of Covid-19 pandemic. Material and Methods:The study was conducted in phenomenological design which is one of the qualitative research methods.The research was conducted between April-June 2020, at the McMaster University Nursing Program in Canada, the research was completed with 6 educators who volunteered to participate in the research. The research data were collected through an online form consisting of 5 open-ended questions due to a pandemic.Thematic content analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data. Results: 6 themes were determined for the educators\` experiences in continuing nursing skills training during the Covid-19 pandemic. The educators continued their skill teaching through online education and virtual simulation methods during the pandemic. The difficulties experienced by educators in this period included adaptation to online education methods, technical problems related to internet access and difficulties in evaluating students. Educators pointed out that reporting all experiences during this process will be important in developing future practices. Conclucion: The nursing education process has been significantly remodelled with the social distance and quarantine measures by the pandemic process all over the world. Canada McMaster University educators also faced various problems in this process. However, it was observed that the problems were shaped in relation to the opportunities provided at the national and institutional level.Keywords : Covid 19, Nursing skills training, nurse educators, experience
