Abstract :Telehealth is described as transferring the medical information of more than one person by continuity of the provision of health; Telenursing, using telecommunications services to improve of patient care services. The common purpose of using telenursing and telehealth practice in home care can be summarize like reducing hospitalization, increasing the management of chronic disease and quality of life and ensuring the coordination and communication between health professionals. Expectations about the use of tele-health in home care and benefits parallel and are suitable for use. It’s success can be proved with studies and results of the application can be observed clearly. Therefore telehealth and telenursing applications is used widely today in many developed countries. Purpose of this article is to examine; the benefits of telenursing and telehealth applications which is being common nowadays,ıt’s use in home care and the situation in our country and around the world.
