Abstract :Chromoblastomycosis caused by Dematiacea fungi family is a rare fungal infection which is usually reported in tropical regions. A 75-year-old male patient presenting with a painless nodule on the dorsum of his foot for one and a half month was diagnosed as chromoblastomycosis confirmed by histopathological and conventional histochemical evaluation of the punch biopsy taken from the lesion.
