Abstract :Purpose: The study aims to identify the distance education perceptions of the faculty members of the department of nursing and the factors affecting these perceptions. Design and Methods: In the cross-sectional and correlational study in which the online survey was used, 327 faculty member who were selected with the sampling method for a known population were included. Data were collected online by using the Personal Information Form and the “Distance Education Perception Scale”. In the evaluation of research data, descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric tests were used. Findings: It was found that the nursing faculty members had medium-level distance education perceptions. Practice Implications: It is thought that improving the competencies of the faculty members of the nursing department can increase their perceptions of distance education, reduce their stress levels and adapt to distance education more easily.Keywords : Uzaktan eğitim, öğretim elemanı, , hemşirelik, pandemi süreci, , algı
