Abstract :Numerous efforts to increase productivity in businesses have been made in every period on a global scale. At this point, the concept of ergonomics comes to the forefront. Ergonomics is a sort of workplace design that maximizes efficiency and productivity while minimizing discomfort. It comprises changing furniture to match the needs of the user and promoting proper posture. Ergonomics in tables, chairs, screens, keyboards, and lighting are necessary in today\\\'s technologically advanced workplaces. Well-designed ergonomic work tools foster a healthy work environment by encouraging regular movement and posture. Because of the rising labor demand in the manufacturing and service industries, ergonomic studies are essential. During ergonomic studies, people\\\'s movements while working in the sector (carrying, tugging, lifting, and pushing) and the location of the equipment they use are examined to determine whether they are appropriate for the efficient and healthy operation of the human body. These examinations are conducted with a range of tools and equipment. (Hand, back, and leg dynamometers, muscle strength measuring devices, noise and sound meters, temperature and humidity measuring devices, bending angle measuring set, light intensity meter, etc.) The tests and measurements determine whether the activities are safe for the human body. Solutions to such challenges are being investigated. The implementation phase occurs once the solution recommendations have been planned. This article examines the work done in the selected manufacturing and service businesses. The research findings are examined and analyzed in accordance with ergonomic standards, and task efficiency is measured. As a result, ergonomic studies are essential for work in the manufacturing and service sectors to be suitable for human anatomy in terms of efficiency, health, and physically leading the appropriate individual to the task at hand. Keywords : Verimlilik, Hizmet ve İmalat Sektörü, ergonomik standartlar
