Abstract :Toplumsal yaşamda korunması gereken “dezavantajlı” gruplar bulunmaktadır. Bu gruplardan birisi de korunmaya muhtaç çocuklardır. Türkiye'de korunmaya muhtaç çocukların bakımı ve korunması farklı yöntemlerle gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle korunmaya muhtaç çocuklara sunulan bakım ve koruma yöntemleri hakkında bilgi verilerek bu bakım yöntemlerinden “Çocuk Evleri” incelenmiştir. Çalışma Türkiye'deki bakım ve koruma altındaki çocukların durumunun seçilmiş ülkelerle karşılaştırması yapılarak genel bir değerlendirme ile sonuçlandırılmıştır. In social life, there are "disadvantaged groups" that should be protected. One of these groups is children in need of protection. In Turkey, care and protection of children is carried out in different ways. In this study, first of all, the information about the methods of caring children who need protection was given, and then, the "Children's Homes" which are among the protection methods mentioned were investigated. The study was concluded with an overall assessment of the provided care for children who are in care and under protection in Turkey compared to others from selected countries.
