Abstract :As its revealed form the Qur?an had a clear cut content to be comprehended by the believers, but in the course of time some terms and concepts underwent some changes in meaning. Observing this event, Muslim scholars considered it as a threat for the Qur?an and started inscribing works to determine its meaning frame. One important issue they faced in this regard is fundamental and allegorical verses of the Qur?an, mentioned in the Surah Al-i Imrân, verse 7. This paper tackles this matter and provides the discussions around it.
