Abstract :Architectural education, among the constantly developing and changing education models from the past to the present, has undergone less changes compared to other disciplines. However, emerging in 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic forced many education disciplines to implement the Distance or Hybrid Education Model. The distance/online education model has already been made use of for a long time. When architectural education practices are reviewed insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(individual project, one-to-one criticism, etc.);, it is observed that applied courses are dominant and studio culture is of significant importance. Therefore, the assumption that education models different from the traditional education model have substantial effects on architectural education seems be a valid hypothesis. In this study, apart from determining the accuracy of the aforementioned hypothesis, it is aimed to determine the positive and negative effects, opportunities and difficulties created by the distance and hybrid education models carried out during the pandemic period, and thus contribute to the future of architectural education. With this purpose in mind, a survey is conducted for architecture students who have experienced both distance education and hybrid education models. As a result, in this study, the students of Kırklareli University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture stated that the hybrid education model is more beneficial.Keywords : Mimarlık eğitimi, pandemi, uzaktan eğitim
