Abstract :The aim of this study is to determine to what extent the texts in Bilim Çocuk (Science Child) magazine, which aim to contribute to the development of 21st-century skills, recognized as one of the current issues in education, and address the globally shared agenda of sustainable development goals, support the goals of sustainable development and contribute to the scientific development of children that they can utilize in their educational process. In this study, in which qualitative research design was utilized, the data were obtained through document analysis, and the data obtained were tabulated and interpreted with percentages and frequencies. In the selection of the magazines to be included in the study, 72 issues published in 2016-2021, determined by criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, were analyzed. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that 92.59% of the texts in Bilim Çocuk magazine belonged to the informative text type and 7.40% to the narrative text type, and that the texts in the magazine were related to \"12.
